The Overall Design Brief

The brief was for a boost in promotional print to push the business, this ranged from logo re-shaping, business card design to a5 promotional flyers.

The logo design for Dundalk Pest Control “DPC” was already made however there were no real clear versions some even blurry. Following the pervious design liked by the company a similar swipe going under the letters DP and over the C  was made followed by a newly shapes bug/pest.

The color scheme of red and black was suggested because of its reference to Dundalk football colors tying in with the Dundalk company. The logo itself was designed to let the use of multiple tones like red/white and black for contrast as seen on business card.

Business Card Design

We designed and printed a striking business card for Dundalk Pest Control that perfectly reflects their brand and unique approach. The front of the card is bold and highly branded, featuring a subtle homage to the range of pests and animals they handle, while emphasizing their focus on non-toxic control and prevention.

On the reverse, we highlighted their key services and contact details, carefully laying out their advanced techniques such as thermal scanning and scoping. To reinforce this, we incorporated a fading background effect that hints at the precision and innovation behind their pest control methods.

Promotional Flyer Design

Following on from the business card, we created a one-sided A5 flyer that built on the same strong visual identity and color palette to ensure brand consistency. The design featured striking imagery of the various pests Dundalk Pest Control deals with, alongside visuals of their advanced thermal vision technology to highlight their innovative, non-toxic approach.

Key service points were clearly laid out to inform potential customers of exactly what they offer, from prevention to control solutions. We also incorporated a concise “About Us” section to give context to their expertise and ethos, paired with prominently placed contact details for easy access. The layout was carefully balanced to remain visually engaging while communicating all essential information in a clear, professional way.
