The Overall Brief

Irish run Swedish company Nordic Personnel Solutions contacted us with a plan to create a brand logo and a website to not only help others find construction jobs in Sweden but to also help building companies find the right staff for the job.

We decided to shorten Nordic Personnel Solutions to “NPS” and began sketching logo concepts around these letters. Keeping in mind that it’s a construction-based recruitment company, we aimed to incorporate sharp angles to convey clean, precise building elements, along with subtle curves and bends to represent piping. Once we refined and agreed on the draft logo, we moved on to developing a brand color palette. After experimenting with around ten color samples, we settled on a combination of blue and yellow as a nod to the Swedish colors, giving the brand a strong, professional, and memorable identity.

Design Features

  1. Designed for multiple screens to maximize utility and function with click to call actions.
  2. A sign up page for candidates to apply for certain jobs titles with an area to fill out with their experience and a place to upload their CV. The form was programmed to adapt to what where filling out and what positions they where skilled for.
  3. Custom designed for mobile phone display for click to call or e-mail elements.
  4. Developed with a powerful control management system (CMS) allowing for website growth, addons and access to self editing.
  5. A page for commercial builders to send details of job positions available in their construction team. 

Business Card Design

NPS opted for a very simple, two-sided business card design to keep production costs down, as there would be a large number of staff requiring individual cards. The focus was on creating a clean and professional layout that could be easily adapted with different names and contact details while maintaining a consistent brand identity across the entire team.
